Job Description:

Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source toolsReview requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases Conduct compatibility tests with other networked products like Intrusion prevention systems, Firewalls etc.
Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of Experience Bachelors/ Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
• Must be good in testing network protocols like TCPIP, UDP, HTTP, FTP, SNMP, ICMP etc.
• Experience in working with network troubleshooting tools e.g. tcpdump, Wireshark, traceroute, ping, nmap etc.
• Good knowledge in Linux commands and usage.
• Experience with performance and security testing is a plus.
• Proven working experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with black box testing.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools preferred e.g Python, PERL TCL.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process Excellent analytical skills. 
• High level of initiative with ability to self-manage.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
